I just start building 2 of the last 3 blanks I had 10'4'' #3WT Maxia rods made in Italy by Modern Flies.

CTS AFFINITY MX 11' # 3 WT 3 pc. Black

AFFINITY MX 11' #3wt fly rod, PcBay NU nickel silver reel seat, walnut insert, PcBay snake guides, Fuji stripping guide, floor grade cork.

EPIC 480 NUDE UNIDIRECTIONAL S2 FIBERGLASS FLY ROD

I didn't post pictures with this rod earlier because I wanted to try it, to cast it and not just for 10 min. Couldn't find the time yet so I'll come back later with my impressions.

Struble black nickel silver reel seat, stabilized spalted maple insert, got it from Mike McCoy (Snake Brand) in GERMANY 3 years ago,PcBay tytn snake guides, agate Snake Brand stripp guide, extra selected floor grade custom grip, Struble winding check, Silk, epoxy finish.

KABUTO7033 WHITE FIBERGLASS FLY ROD

I used for this rod floor selected, cork for both grip and reel seat insert. the reel seat ferrule is from REC nickel silver. Pc Bay low profile stripping guide, Pc Bay guides, tight up with gold silk and finished with 2 part epoxy.

CHANGE OF PLANS

I decided to change the color of the thread,I just didn't like how it came out  after applying the first coat of epoxy on the first guide, it was to colorless, so I redone the thread and this is how it looks now.

 2 layers of epoxy, 2 more to come.
