EPIC X (cellent Fly Rod Blank) Carbon Fiber 9' #6 wt.

I built this rod quite a while ago, I just didn't do what I supposed to do at that time being very busy.

Another Epic rod was born. EPIC X it is an experimental carbon fiber blank from SWIFT Fly Fishing. It is 9' 6wt fast action rod, a really special fast acton rod, really different kind of fast action. It loads amazingly easy at close distance, very very fishable rod, works well for extra-fine presentations at any distance,Roll cast works amazing with no effort at all.

Epic S2 Fiberglass Rod Blank

 I just got the Epic blank from Carl McNeil, I read lot of good things about it but sometimes people get carried away,never got one in my hand till now.
What I can say about the Epic in front of me? it is awesome, the feel of the glass "fast" action,the color, the finish. Definitely Epic it is one of the best blanks available on the market and became one of my favorite.
Can't wait to build it.

 I am pleased to say that starting with the 5th of April 2013 I am a part of Certified Epic pro rodbuilders team.
As many of you may already know, Swift Fly Fishing Company has released  their new Epic™ Unidirectional S2 Fiberglass Fly Rod Blanks while ago.
Unidirectional S2 fibre material and the blanks have faster recovery speeds, are smooth casting fly rods and also strong.The blanks are available in different models and, for now, in 4 colours.

The blanks I ordered will arrive soon and I look forward to build the rods.
